This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, service credits, and billing corrections apply to Forge Blueprints, subscriptions, launch services, Marketplace purchases, usage charges, and third-party expenses.
This policy is incorporated into the Forge Terms of Service.
A signed order form or statement of work may contain different refund terms for a particular engagement. Where it does, that signed document controls.
1. Cancellation Is Different From a Refund
Cancelling a recurring subscription prevents future renewals.
A refund returns some or all of an amount already charged.
Cancelling a service does not automatically create a right to a refund for:
- an already-started billing period;
- completed work;
- delivered materials;
- consumed usage;
- reserved service capacity;
- committed advertising spend;
- purchased leads or data;
- nonrecoverable provider expenses; or
- another fulfilled or partially fulfilled service.
2. Forge Blueprint
The Forge Blueprint is a customized assessment and operating-plan engagement.
Before work begins
The Blueprint fee is fully refundable when cancellation is received before:
- the scheduled kickoff;
- system or document review begins;
- a substantive discovery session occurs; or
- HustleForge begins preparing the customer-specific assessment,
whichever occurs first.
After work begins but before delivery
Once substantive Blueprint work begins, the customer may request cancellation.
HustleForge will determine whether any portion remains unearned based on:
- discovery completed;
- documents reviewed;
- systems evaluated;
- analysis performed;
- meetings conducted;
- deliverables prepared; and
- nonrecoverable expenses incurred.
Any approved refund will exclude completed work and nonrecoverable costs.
After delivery
The Blueprint fee becomes non-refundable once the Forge Plan or substantially complete Blueprint deliverable has been delivered.
If HustleForge cancels the Blueprint without delivering the agreed work and the cancellation was not caused by the customer, HustleForge will refund the unearned portion of the fee.
3. Forge Start, Forge Core, Forge Pro, and Forge Operations Subscriptions
This section applies to every Forge subscription tier, including Forge Start, Forge Core, Forge Pro, and Forge Operations.
Subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically until cancelled.
Customers may cancel through the authorized online cancellation mechanism or by emailing contact@hustleforge.tech.
After cancellation:
- access continues through the end of the paid billing period;
- no future subscription renewal will be charged;
- unused days in the current billing period are not prorated; and
- the customer should export required information before account deletion.
Subscription payments are generally non-refundable after the billing period begins.
Billing errors
Contact HustleForge within 14 days if you believe:
- you were charged after a timely cancellation;
- the amount charged differed from the amount authorized;
- the same transaction was charged more than once;
- an unauthorized plan or add-on was activated; or
- another processing error occurred.
Confirmed billing errors will be corrected or refunded.
4. Guided Launch
Guided Launch is included within the documented subscription scope and is not separately refundable.
Cancellation of a subscription does not create a cash refund for:
- Guided Launch participation;
- earned Forge Credits;
- completed milestones;
- provided templates;
- training already delivered; or
- support already performed.
5. Managed Launch
Managed Launch is customized implementation work and may include:
- platform configuration;
- data preparation;
- migration;
- integration setup;
- workflow configuration;
- testing;
- training; and
- go-live support.
The signed statement of work or order form governs Managed Launch refunds.
Where a signed document does not state separate terms:
- fees are fully refundable before work begins, less nonrecoverable third-party costs;
- completed milestones are non-refundable;
- work in progress is billed according to the reasonable value of work performed;
- unused prepaid amounts may be refunded;
- deposits used to reserve implementation capacity may be non-refundable if identified as such before payment; and
- third-party charges already committed are non-refundable unless recovered from the provider.
Customer delays, unavailable records, revoked access, or failure to provide required decisions do not make completed implementation work refundable.
6. Integrations and Custom Development
Integration and development engagements may include discovery, field mapping, authentication, implementation, testing, and deployment.
Unless a statement of work states otherwise:
- discovery and assessment fees are non-refundable after completion;
- completed milestones are non-refundable;
- accepted deliverables are non-refundable;
- work not yet performed may be cancelled;
- any refund will exclude completed work and committed provider costs; and
- changes to the requested scope may require a revised quote.
An integration is not refundable solely because a third-party provider later:
- changes its API;
- changes pricing;
- withdraws access;
- discontinues a feature;
- changes authentication requirements; or
- experiences an outage.
HustleForge will separately address defects in work that does not materially match the approved scope.
7. Marketplace Services
Refund eligibility depends on the type and delivery status of the Marketplace purchase.
Services not yet started
A HustleForge-delivered Marketplace service may generally be cancelled for a full refund before work begins, less disclosed nonrecoverable costs.
Services in progress
After work begins, any refund is limited to the unperformed portion of the service. Completed work, reserved capacity, and nonrecoverable costs are not refundable.
Completed services
Completed and delivered services are non-refundable unless they materially fail to match the approved written scope and HustleForge is unable to correct the issue within a reasonable period.
8. Leads, Campaigns, and Paid Media
Lead and data purchases
Lead lists, lead records, data products, or similar consumable information are non-refundable after delivery or access, except where:
- the wrong product was delivered;
- duplicate records materially exceeded an agreed limit;
- the delivered records materially failed the documented criteria; or
- applicable law requires a refund.
A lead is not refundable merely because the lead:
- does not respond;
- declines the offer;
- does not purchase;
- provides incomplete information;
- has already considered a competing provider; or
- does not produce revenue.
Any replacement or quality guarantee must be stated in the specific order.
Campaign and management fees
Campaign strategy, setup, creative work, configuration, and management fees are refundable only for the portion not yet performed.
Advertising and media spend
Advertising spend, postage, placement costs, creator fees, list-rental fees, platform fees, and similar third-party commitments are non-refundable after being committed to the provider unless the provider returns the funds.
HustleForge does not guarantee campaign results, lead volume, conversions, sales, or revenue.
9. Usage-Based Services
Usage-based charges may include:
- calling minutes;
- messaging;
- email volume;
- storage;
- API usage;
- provider transactions; and
- other metered services.
Charges for usage already consumed are non-refundable unless caused by a verified billing or measurement error.
Customers are responsible for reviewing configured usage limits, budgets, and approval settings.
10. Third-Party Products and Pass-Through Costs
Refunds for third-party products, provider subscriptions, licenses, advertising spend, usage, and pass-through charges are governed by the applicable provider’s policy.
HustleForge will reasonably assist with a provider refund request but does not guarantee the provider will approve it.
If a provider returns a pass-through charge to HustleForge, HustleForge will return the recoverable amount to the customer, less any disclosed non-refundable fees or work already performed.
11. Forge Credits
Forge Credits:
- are not cash;
- have no cash value;
- are not purchased balances;
- are non-refundable;
- cannot be redeemed for cash;
- cannot be transferred to an unrelated person or entity;
- may expire; and
- cannot pay third-party costs, ordinary subscription access, advertising spend, or consumed usage.
Cancellation does not convert unused Forge Credits into a refund.
When a cash payment and Forge Credits are used together, any approved refund applies only to the eligible cash portion. Returned credits may be reinstated at HustleForge’s discretion if they have not expired.
12. Promotional Pricing and Discounts
Promotional discounts, credits, free periods, and reduced-price offers have no cash value.
A refund will not exceed the amount actually paid.
Cancellation of a discounted or promotional plan does not create a refund based on the regular retail price.
13. Service Interruptions and Service Credits
A temporary outage or integration interruption does not automatically create a cash refund.
Where an order form or service-level agreement provides service credits:
- those credits are the remedy stated in that agreement;
- they are applied to future eligible charges;
- they are not cash; and
- they are not interchangeable with Forge Credits unless expressly stated.
This section does not limit rights that cannot legally be waived.
14. Taxes
Taxes are refunded only when:
- the underlying charge is refunded;
- the tax was collected in error; or
- applicable law requires a refund.
HustleForge is not responsible for taxes charged and retained directly by a third-party provider.
15. How to Request a Refund or Billing Review
Email contact@hustleforge.tech and include:
- customer or organization name;
- account email;
- invoice or transaction reference;
- service involved;
- date of charge;
- amount disputed;
- reason for the request; and
- any supporting information.
Do not include full payment-card numbers, passwords, bank credentials, or other unnecessary sensitive information.
HustleForge will acknowledge the request within a reasonable period and may request additional information.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method where possible. Payment processors and financial institutions generally require additional time to post a completed refund.
16. Chargebacks
Customers should contact HustleForge before initiating a payment dispute so that billing errors can be investigated promptly.
Submitting a chargeback does not cancel a subscription or other recurring service unless a cancellation request is also submitted.
HustleForge may provide the payment processor with relevant:
- purchase records;
- contract terms;
- account activity;
- delivery records;
- approval history;
- support communications; and
- cancellation information.
Fraudulent or abusive disputes may result in suspension or termination.
17. Exceptions Required by Law
Nothing in this policy limits a refund, cancellation, warranty, or consumer right that cannot legally be waived.
